That's what it sounds like when you're close to it... I don't know if the honey bees are stupid around me or what but this is the second honeycomb I've found right out in the open like this. Needless to say none of them made it thru the winter in the one I found last year. I found that one after it had already frosted. Anbody else ever seen one like this right out in the open? I have never seen that before. That is so crazy looking. I will definetly be keeping an eye out for them now!
