The place I was hunting yesterday is COVERED with vegetation that I can only describe as green beans. They totally blanket the ground for about 4 acres, and there are literally thousands, if not millions, of what look just like green beans. Granted, they are a little bit shorter than the ones we grow in our garden, but none the less..... Anybody ever see these, or have any idea what they may actually be? Google isn't helping me out any, and I'm wondering how they may be for a food source.
Could it be soybeans that got washed out of a field after they were planted? Or maybe your hunting over somebody elses food plot??
There eatable beans I'm thinking. Just like the ones we grow In the garden. There are many different types of beans you can grow that are eatable.
They are most certainly not soy beans. These are tubars, and look identical to the green beans found in a garden, except they are a bit shorter. If I can remember my camera, I'll get a picture of them the next time I'm there. I swear these are green beans, I've just never heard of them growing in the wild. It doesn't have the appearance of a food plot, it looks like a natural occurence.
