Hub blind collapse

    So over the years you hear the hub blind collapse stories...I've had them myself. So I started fixing that. I put up a center support but this year I bought fiberglass or carbon drive way marking stakes sunk them in place and wired them to the side hub bracing. You all have seen my water proof hub cap fix so that protects from roof rip.
    Now I hunted late season and never got the blind in. We had the 20 or so inched of snow then Temps went up over night and it's 38 now. You can imagine how heavy the snow is now. I went over to clean canvas barn roof and check and clean the hub blind. Here are the pictures. This is an easy thing to do when you first put up your hub ,just keep center support on ground along the wall and place when you leave. Just incase there is an unexpected snow...or even a heavy raccoon.

    Nice! I think ill steal this idea. We come back to ours in the late winter/spring and its usually caved in.
