If I hear that friggin big plastic buckle hit the metal on the seat of a stand just one more time I am gonna scream.

WTF is that thing even for anyways??? I'm assuming it's the fall relief aspect and that's why I left it on there (for dad just in case).

Has to be the worst placement of a large loud plastic buckle I have ever seen..........although I have clicked off the chest buckle and leg buckles a couple times as well.

This thing is best suited for UNDER your outer garment I am finding out the hard way.

I like my HSS vest but that is for 2 things. One is a deer drag, second it is for the trama relief and you can hook the loop they send you and then place your foot into the loop and stand to take the pressure off your legs. I also have had it actually catch to the back of my stand so I was stuck sitting for a brief period. But I still love the harness and think it is the easiest. And as I speak for experience the customer service is second to none!!!!

NavyDeerHunter a friend wears one. When I went down Friday to help him track/recover a doe he used the drag system on his HSS to pull the deer up a big wooded hill. For what little I helped it seemed he did not work as hard as my son's dragging my deer without one....lol. Then again Navy is a bigboy, I don't think much would slow him down !!!!!!

Im not getting what plastic buckle you mention. The only plastic ones on mine are the two chest buckles. I have a coated metal one in the back for dragging, is that the one your refering to? I have never had mine clang on my stands, climber or hang ons. mines older, maby they added something. I still love mine!
