Alright guys need a little help. Looking at a 2004 Hoyt XTec 1000. My question is, what's a good price for it? Looks to be in good shape but definitely needs string and cables. I looked all over online but all I can find is old (2011 and older) post with prices. Any help would be great.

5 years ago I bought a 2004 Hoyt Razortec XT2000 with a Spot Hogg 5 pin sight, QAD drop away rest, quiver, and soft case for $375. Not sure if that helps, kind of hard to appraise a 13 year old bow. If it's a bare bow I wouldn't go more than $125-150. By the time you put new strings, cables, peep sight you might have $275 into it. Then if you don't have a rest, quiver, or a sight you are looking at another $150+ easy. Adds up pretty quick lol. Good luck with the purchase. Oh and my Hoyt was a great bow, you should have a great time with yours!

Thanks much Simplman! That's a start. It's my buddy so I didn't want to low ball him because neither of us had a clue where to start as far as price
