I am looking at a Hoyt Vtech for $300 and a Mathews Switchback $350. Are those good bows and are they good prices?
Yes those prices are good providing all is well, string, cables, cams. wheels, are there any extras or just bare, i recently paid $425.00 for a nearly mint 2005 switchback with a hha sight , trophy taker rest , peep , string loop, soft case, and six easton epic arrows, just make sure of the draw lenght on the switchback cause they are draw specific, pghrich
I can't speak for the hoyt but a guy at work just got a switchback, it's an 09 (i think) and he gave $600 for it. Said it looks brand new and he liked it more than any new bow on the shelf. Shoot them both, both good brands, everyone has their style / feeling.
switchback and the vtec were both nasty bows back in the day... shoot em both and pick the one you like better.
Id go with the Mathews but like everyone else said, shoot both and pick the one that feels the best to you, and the one you like best.
