I've had one for two years and absolutely love it. Its fairly fast, quiet, fits me perfect, and kills deer.
Just picked mine up from the shop this morning after having the string replaced. Old ones were still in good shape but felt it was time to be replaced! Thing is shooting awesome!
Great bow. I had one when they came out. Still have a 28" draw 60 lbs set up with winners choice strings. I bought it for my dad and he never got into archery like I did and did not shoot it much. Looking to sell it if you are interested shoot me a pm. Semper Fi !
I shoot one as well. Bought it back in '06, replaced the strings twice now (not out of necessity just a every other year thing I do)....It is an amazingly reliable bow. I have left it out in the sporadic torrential Alaskan rains for 12 days straight (tent is more like a coffin with no extra room). I have dropped it from 21 feet in a tree stand, climbed down, got it, shot it, and climbed back up to hunt with it. I used it to beat a turkey to death (long story). I let it slide out of the back of my truck taking off down the street (in a case at least). I have pulled cactus thorns out of the strings/cables in Arizona. The bow is indestructible at this point I am convinced. I will likely change strings again summer 2012 and continue to shoot it for another 2 years. Newer bows are a tad quieter and faster, but no where near enough to justify switching over just yet.
