hi i am new here so im sorry if this is not the right place for this thread. I have shot the hoyt turbo hawk and like it. i was wondering if this would be a good deal since this would be my first hunting bow.

the seller says he has a hoyt turbohawk for sale for 400:
    shot maybe 75 times
    comes with:
    fuse stab
    truglo 4 pin sight
    wisker bisket
    5 arrow quiver

is this a good deal? about how much would this bow with all these accessories cost new? and what else would i need to buy for it?

    Thanks! i really appreciate it

I wasn't offering it to you. I was giving you a gauge of what kind of deal you're getting.

I think it's a fair price. It's not an outstanding deal but a good one. And if you like the bow and the accessories that are installed then I say go for it.

    Decent deal.

If it were me, I'd ask him what he would take for just the bow and stabilizer. He might lower the offer.

I don't really care for Whisker Biscuits and I like to piece together my bow and accessories myself, so those accessories on his would be of no use to me probably.

    I got a new barebow T.H. a while back for $350

My dad bought a new turbohawk loaded last year, think he has around $700 into it, very nice bow, I wouldn't hesitate to grab it for $400 loaded especially if it has only seen 75 arrows, you'll do that the first hour you own it!

In the overall realm, YES, it's a good deal, but if you don't like the sight, and he WB isn't the rest for you, then there are probably some BETTER deals out there. The Tru-Glo sights in my estimation aren't anywhere near the best and are a lot closer to the WORST sights out there, the WB is good for some people, but there are a LOT of people who wouldn't own one because they tear fletches up after a while....

As someone else said...."If you're okay with the accessories, then it's a good deal."
