im in the market for a new bow, my max budget is 600. i know that the smoke is $100 less than the rampage and the specs seem to be equal. I havnt shot either bow but i dont know if i have access to shoot the smoke. My question is, is the rampage worth the extra $100? Ive heard great things about the smoke yet i know hoyt makes a quality bow. has anyone shot both of these bows and could you please give your opinions. Thanks

Adam, I never shot the Hoyt. But I hunted this year with a Smoke and I really like it.
Killed 3 deer with it, it's very quiet and plenty fast. A great hunting bow.

I have shoot the new hoyt rampage xt it is very forgiving it have a smooth draw also. Not all that fast but it was nice. With a budget of 600 I would go with the new hoyt pro hawk. I liked that bow a lot more its only 400 so u have 200 left to equip it with. I am getting a new bow this year also but my budgets a little higher than ur I'm either gettin the alpha burner at 950 or the carbon element at 1200
