so im gonna be getting a new bow this year for christmas and im wondering what i should get. im a die hard bone collector fan (as well as bowhunting.com) so naturally im leaning toward hoyts new maxxis 31. Ive heard alot of good things about this bow and am really itching to get one so has anyone else owned one or shot one? like how is the draw? smooth? front or back weighted? also does it come with spiral cams? any information is appreciated!

My suggestion is that you go shoot it. Someone will tell you its the best of the best and someone else will tell you it has a terrible draw cycle. I wouldn't buy a bow without shooting it first. Let the bow pick you!

Exactly what Dan said. Go shoot it. You may walk in with your mind set on a Maxxis 31 and walk out with a PSE. You just never know. It's all what feels good to the shooter.
There are a ton of bows on the market. To help narrow your search, set some criteria... ATA, Brace height, IBO...

If you need any more help, or have any questions ask away, but nobody can tell you what bow is best for you except yourself.

the Maxxis is in the lineup this year so to buy one new you'd have to find a leftover at a shop or eBay

it is usually common practice I don't know a bow shop that you can't shoot the bow before you buy it in
