I am looking forward to shoot the carnage also, really liked the attack last year

so far i have shot the new hoyts, bowtechs, mathews, nothing really stood out, except for the invasion and the shop did not have a specialist in yet.

$$$ for the bows is getting high for the average guy.

Really looking for a chance to shoot a maitland if the ever get there 2011 bows on the market. I am holding out to shoot one.:D

IBO rating is a 30" draw with 5gpp.

For what it's worth, the unbiased tests I've seen Hoyt stands head and shoulders above ALL companies in shooting near the IBO rating that they put on their bows. Most all other companies fall significantly below the IBO rating. Last year, the Carbon Matrix and Z7 were shot and the Carbon Matrix was 7fps faster than the Z7, though the Z7 was supposed to be 10fps faster according to the IBO rating!!! So I really don't put much stock in "IBO RATINGS" because MOST of the time, a bow won't actually shoot the speed it's "rated" for anyhow.

In all honesty, I've shot an Alphamax 32 & 35, Carbon Matrix, Maxxis 31 and 35, all side by side, and in the end, I stil liked my AM35 better than any of the above. I shot a stripped CRX 32 and didn't care much for it, nice enough very similar to the AM32, but I couldn't have said it was better. I went back and shot the Carbon Element and a CRX32 both set up with stabs, sights, etc and the second time I shot the CRX32, I liked it as much, maybe a touch better than my AM32 and AM35's. But in all honesty, I STILL cannot say I'd rate the Carbon Matrix or Element above either the CRX or AM bows because I wouldn't. I just wasn't that impressed with them as much as I wanted to be. The Z7's I've shot, seemed like they didn't break over at a comfortable point in the draw cycle to me, and they seemed a little LONG for what the DL was supposed to be set at to me. I've not shot the NEWEST Z7Xtreme, but I suspect it's not going to be much different than the regular Z7.

I know right away, I'd take it OFF of my list of bow that I have any interest in though because I really don't like anything with a shorter ATA than about 32", and I'd prefer longer 36-37" ata if I were to design a bow.
