I need some help deciding between the hoyt crx 32 and the hoyt rampage xt. They are the same bow all around just a differnt price. Is the crx truly worth the extra money??????
Honestly, I shot them both at my bow shop and went with the Rampage XT. In my opinion there isn't that much of a difference to justify the higher price of the CRX. For the record, I love my Rampage XT.
I just switched to a CRX32. I shot it and the Carbon Element and bought the CRX for that same reasoning. Just couldnt tell enough difference to pay that extra money. CRX is a quiet, smooth bow. I love mine.
I shot both and there wasn't enough difference to me to justify paying the extra money for the CRX. The biggest advantage I know is that Hoyt claims it has survived 1500 yes 1500 dry fires. Since I would never test that, I will be buying the Rampage XT at the begining of the year (Tax Time). They both have the same exact specs. 323fps, ATA: 32"Brace Height: 7". The only difference on the specs is the weight and thats only .05lb. I didn't notice it. You could buy and outfit the Rampage for close to the same price as the CRX bare. I think the price difference was around $200-$250. Thats just what I decided after comparing.
