Sorry for the random post, but just bought a new Hoyt Carbon Spyder Turbo from a local shop in Tucson, and upon reading the warranty, I see the following disclaimer, "NEVER EXPOSE YOUR BOW TO EXTREME HEAT OR PROLONGED MOISTURE" followed by "Excessive heat, such as a sunny day inside a closed vehicle, could cause component failure."

Ummm.. I live and hunt near Tucson AZ. Season begins next week, and I guarantee you the temps will be excessive. I also guarantee you that the temp inside my vehicle will be excessive periodically when I have it in back.

Am I being too over-reactive for being a bit yanked, when it comes to purchasing a $1400 bow that the company won't honor the warranty on, because I live in a climate that is over 100 degrees routinely?

Hoyt's customer service line is "Closed" even though the normal hours of operation should indicate they are open. So no input from them.

    Thoughts?

    Kong
