I shoot a Mathews Switchbak XT...so I'm due for an update. I have narrowed it down to the Hoyt Carbon Matrix RKT and Mathews Heli-M based on the specifications and reviews I have read so far. I have a bias towards Mathews only because my friends and I shoot them and they feel great. I'm looking for something that shoots flat and accurate. Only have a chance to shoot these new bows? If so what are your thoughts and advise on purchasing either one of these?
I personally like single cam bows. When I got my z7x I shot the carbon element and didn't like the feel of a dual cam after the release. To me it felt like it was going to jump out of my hand and I wasn't used to that. Try it though. I may be a die hard Mathews shooter but I'm a huge fan of hoyt bows. They're simply hardcore. You really can't go wrong with either of those. The other thing I liked more about the mathews is that it's shorter.
I love Hoyt and shoot a Hoyt, but personally I like to keep my brace height at 7". I'm a little disappointed that the new Hoyt bows are under that mark.
I have three Bowtechs but I would almost consider selling one to buy the new Helium. That bow is light as a feather! It wasn't set up to shoot but the shop owner let me cuddle with it for a bit. Its gonna be a money maker for Mathews. I have no input on the Hoyt. Sent from my Droid using Tapatalk
That new Heli-M sounds awesome...thanks guys for your input I will take it into consideration this spring when I make my purchase.
