I like watching this show on the History Channel called Pawn Stars. Not sure how many watch it on here, but a guy brought in his 2010 Hoyt Carbon Matrix decked out to sell. He came in asking for $2000 for the package, but the shop ended up buying it fully loaded for $1250. Anybody else catch it?
Yeah I saw it....The boys didn't shoot it too well. You know that baby was Hot..he ain't selling his "new" bow for a loss.
Sometimes I think "Why would you bring that in there and get half of what you would at an auction or something???" If I brough something in there and one of their "experts" told me it was worth 3,000 and he offered 1,000 or less I would not sell it to him!! Id take it to an auction!
used bow with no warranty. not the only carbon bow out there, unlike the guy said @ 3.8 lbs not that light either. This show is just a rigged reality show like antiques road show turned into.
carbon tech does. http://www.carbontecharrows.com/products/hunting-bows/ and hca has in the past. the man's statement was this is the only carbon bow ever made. wich is false.and there are a ton of alum risers under 3.8 lbs. I am not a hoyt hater,i have owned one in the past. it's just that the tv show bought a used bow without a warranty for just that (tv show)
Well I like the show and did see it but he did say this thing is so high tech it has fiber optics goodness sakes. lol
LOL I didn't get to see it but the guy at work said the big guy was having problems pulling it back after bragging... he would show them how to shoot it. I would have loved to seen that !! LOL Tim
Yeah I had to laugh a little when he said that. I also got a kick out of watching them shoot it. Come to think about it, that's probably how my buddies felt watching me shoot a compound for the first time.
