Its nasty here. If I can't climb a tree in it I don't want it.

We got about 4" total of crap. Looks like about 1/2" of ice, then about 1 1/2" of sleet then about 2" of snow on top of it all. My dad in Caldwell CO. said they have about 6" of crap.
I'm with you, I'm sick of this crap. I guess it could have been worse, remember the ice storm of '09? We were out of power for 11 days. THAT sucked!

11 days... you had it easy huh. We were without for 3 weeks. I was watching the trees all day yesterday. Once it changed to sleet I was relieved!

I was without power for only a few days.

My friends house at deer camp in webster co was out for 7 weeks if I remember correctly. They lost all their poles.

I think we were hit by that same ice storm (maybe). We only lost power for three days... but since we had generators, it didn't bother us much at all. I went deer hunting. :)

It did a number on our trees, had to drive out through the cornfield because our drive was blocked. Most of the powerlines that ran East-West were snapped. The ones running North-South did much better.

Haha....me to on watching the trees and then the switch to sleet. I was never so glad to see it start sleeting.
Yeah, I guess 11 days is easy compared to 3 weeks.
That ice storm was tough, couldn't go anywhere or do anything. Just stuck at home. I remember seeing on the news how there was a larger number of babies than normal 9 months after the ice storm in '09.:nana:

I was the opposite, my son was born 1-24-09 just a day before it all started.

Fitz I think they only saw the snow(which sucks) but we have had somewhere around 50+ days of below zero temps. I would trade 100" more snow to get rid of those.
