Just wondering what everyone does for work on here and if work is starting to pick up anywhere? This economy has takin it's toll on alot of us but it always seems like there's enough money to go hunting!

Very boring at the moment. I'm the only person in the office today. I put the phones on "night", my feet are propped up, the indie music is turned up loud, and I'm watching YouTube clips of people hurting themselves. I'll probably leave at noon.

I'm an environmental scientist/consultant. I clean up the oil industry's mess. And since the majority of the oil industry is employed by moronic neanderthals, I stay quite busy. Usually. Just not today.

Facility Manager for a homeless shelter. Dead as a hammer this week. Over half of the people are on vacation this week, so there is NOTHING going on.

Residential contractor. Right now I'm looking at money available vs bill to be paid and not liking what I'm seeing. Housing market sucks the big one.

Sales and Marketing Manager for an internet company. I mostly deal with web design and SEO customers. We are actually very busy right now. Can't you tell by how often I'm on here? I'm a good multi-tasker. Companies want to use up their 2010 budget, and/or they want something new for 2011.

I work for my dad who is a water and sewer contractor in Minneapolis/St. Paul. There is work, but it's slow...especially with the snow.

I'm also a student [tech school for plumbing]...I graduate in May, but start an internship at the end of March. The company I'm going to be interning with surprisingly has work (residential)

I'm doing great. When the economy returns to where it was......I probably won't be.

I figure I've got 2-3yrs to ride this.

I work at a juvenile lock-up facility as a shift supervisor. I am currently going through a lengthy job application process (over five months) that is either going to make or break me here in the next two weeks. I hope to put in my two weeks notice here shortly. If I don't get the job I am going underground, growing a huge beard, and starting to play poker again in the smoke filled rooms of WV. :)

Listing it as an occupation now...I have to say its slightly more than a crush. I guess you could say things are gettng pretty serious. You had me worried when you ignored my last Tebow/Meyer reference.

Still flattered, but you're not my type. A short temper isn't attractive to me. I like a sense of humor, and long walks in the woods.

I am a firefighter and it is always busy. This time of year brings out the best and WORST in people. You can always count on the 2 oclock in the morning drunk as well. Not much hunting now just have to wait till Aug 27th for opening elk.
