Now im doing this off my phone or i would be able to pin point where i seen prints a droppings and some other little things but i cant lol so this is just a basic scan of the property. The property at the bottom right corner is the start of property and i can hunt all those woods up to the creek. i cant cross the creek because something about there being eagles nesting in there and there trying to make it protected wet lands. not really sure about what kinda trees are in there just yet but at the back end of the empty field are a number of pine trees and there scattered all through there. not to thick with some good trees for a climber and ladder stands. I dont think there will be a crop in there this yr but was thinking about putting up some baiting sites in there this yr and just not hunt it till later in the year just because its a new property and there really isnt time to do what i want to do without scaring every animal out of the woods. so i think its feeders and trail cameras till next year. what would you guys think i should do

Without marked boundaries lines its hard to make a suggestion. That's a lot of land there.

Its actually pretty easy, no crop fields and one water source that you can't cross. Hunt the terrain, and come rut set up near the creek BC bucks will cruise it looking for does. If you can find a good food source in the area, a white oak ridge etc. Then that's gonna be a key. Mineral sites would be a good choice if you can get to them undetected but bait sites are a bad choice IMO. The deer are just browsing through, adding a food source is just gonna change the way the deer move through there, trails bedding areas etc. Putting you back at square 1

Have mineral sites(if it is legal) out figure out the size of deer you r working with. Use video on trails to study deer movement and body langue. I would hunt hard wood for rut and swamp for rut to. use pinch points.
