Maybe a little more info. The whole block is only 40 acres. You can see where there is a line right up the middle that seperates the 2, 20 acre blocks. The Right block is nastiest, thickest bedding area you ever wanna see. The Left block is nothing but hardwood/pine mix. (Way more hardwood than pine, and lots of acorn trees throughout) There is a small ridge that runs South to North in the middle of the left block. There is a larger ridge that runs East to West in the top 1/4 of the left block.

I'd PM gri22ly and ask him but if it were me and depending how wide the creek is I'd set up in the point of the creek in the East side of your boundry. Deer should travel along the edge along the creek running N and S, next to the nasty stuff and deer should travel NE and SW along the creek as well. Looks like you may have a pinch point where those areas intersect. You need a topo or even a black and white areal may help as well.

LA, Click "Terrain" in the top right hand corner, that will give you the topo.

    Be nice PT.:)

I am not even hunting much right now. The temps have been crazy, winds crazy, driving me crazy. Hopefully get some decent temps next week.

Anybody care to comment on the map question?
