Is there a dislike? What a valiant effort to try and make CWD political. why are the number of tests decreasing, because they are not testing as broad of areas as they did in the past, they are counting more on hunters and people to submit their harvest for testing if it shows signs of being infected. The broad testing has shown not to be of any greater benefit as far as controlling CWD.

Unless a cure for it is discovered we are going to have to continue to deal with CWD. If hunters are worried about their kill, they will get it tested, if they are not worried, that is their choice. No need to throw money in more test so we can increase the negative results so we can say a lower percentage of tests have been positive.

I watch this fairly close. No contiguous counties around me have it yet.

For those that are dealing with it:

Would you let your kids eat deer that was not tested?
Do the local meat processors make sausage from all the deer brought in at the same time?
How long does it take to find out if your deer has CWD?
    Does someone sell test kits?

I don't have any fears and bowhunting will be going strong long after the writer and readers of that rather biased story are pushing up daisies.
