I know It's not over yet but lets hear how It's been so far.

As for myself It was a great year. Got myself a bear In Minnesota and enjoyed a hunt In Colorado with people from all over the world.

My deer hunting was phenomenal!! I found out how much fun hunting mature bucks can be when you've got mature buck numbers around. We'll see what the late season brings.

Still feel like the best is yet to come. I took a doe a few weeks back with my recurve....and an 8 pointer with my new rifle. Still looking for a bow buck. And I'll try to take a couple of does to donate.

Passed (shooting at) more deer this year than ever before. I shot the only doe I wanted to kill (to date). I had close encounters with 2 shooter bucks (about my avg.). But, not enough shooting light saved one attempt...and a poor setup (wrong side of the tree....as I had top limb clearance issues) cost me a chance on the only 8 pointer I've seen with a bow in my hand.

The does are again in play, here. It should make for a fun Dec.. Season ends 12/31.

My early season was great, other than one errant arrow. Mid October was a little slow, but October ended very well for me.

I managed more with more than I ever have in the past. I had the good fortune to hunt with nearly seventy different individuals from around the globe (I actually met many new friends from this site). Helping them harvest animals was purely icing on the cake! I hope to compose a tribute to the hunters by year's end.

And finally, Team 6 and the West are going to win the deer contests. For how much more could a guy ask ?

Well i didnt get to hunt this year thanks to my back surgery. But i did clean alot of deer for my friends. Making jerky and sausage can really suck when u cant hunt. But i am very happy for all of you that had a sucessful season so far

My year did not go as planned. Along with football and my first year of bowhunting I did not live up to my expectations. I saw 3 doe the first time out. Hunted hard for a about a month. And finaly saw a little buck on halloween then again the next night coming from my stand. I didnt see a single deer for the next month after going out about fifteen times. I saw a realy nice buck November 29 at last light during gun season. Ive gone out everyday sice then including tonight not seeing a deer, only trespassers! Not such a good year for me, but for my bros... a differnt story.

Started off terrible in Sept. Oct. was the month of many visuals/close calls and a miss that will haunt me on a droptined buck. Nov was a month of all of my scouting and work paying off big for two loved ones. Dec we will see.
