I know it would be nearly impossible to describe how to use a grunt call in words on a forum so when and what part of the season do you use a grunt call. I am wanting to see if anyone knows of any good video sites or of any on youtube that I could use to learn how to use my grunt call effectively. I would like to take this off season to learn how to use it correctly.

What part of the season Months wise to use it?

    Any Advise about using one??

I actually use mine all season long but more frequently around Halloween and the rut. I like a loud grunt so I bought a Primos Buck Roar. I can spit out some loud grunts with that and I've had a lot of success calling in bucks. They have to hear you in order for the call to be effective, right?

I usually blind call and have called several bucks that probably weren't going to pass by my stand until they heard the call. I don't buy the hype of sounding three grunts and shutting up for 30 minutes. A lot can happen in the deer woods in 30 minutes. So I call (loudly) several times every 10-15 minutes. Good luck.
