How to measure draw length

    Can anyone tell me how to measure my draw length other then telling me to go to the pro shop?

    Wing span, finger tip to finger tip....then divide by 2.5

    This is what I do and it will definitely get you within a half of an inch. usually closer to 1/4" though. Has seemed to work for me in the shop for the last few years I have been using it with customers. No matter what you do it is only going to getyou close anyway because different manufacturers have different DL's. If you take two bows from different companies both 28" DL's I guarantee there will be at least 1/4" different in the measured or "actual" DL in the two bows.

    I hate wing span methods. Too many variables. Release aids, loops, body style. Depending on setup, they are as much as an 1" off for me.

    Then you have manufacturers that have bows that are too long in draw to begin with.
