okay guys, got someone to look at my bow, and we installed a rope to activate the drop way rest. its the hunter, by QAD ultra rest. i am still getting some fletching material left on the rest, though it is falling away properly now. i was just wondering if there was a way to get the rest to fall alittle faster. also, if this is not possible, would shorter fletching help aid in giving the rest a split second more time to get out of the way. the arrows i am using are easton gamegetters, 340 spine, xx75 and weight about 511 gr. will shorter fletching work, or would i just be doing an injustice to the accuracy of the arrow?? would carbon arrows make a differacne? thanks guys, for all the help, brian.

Okay guys, I started looking at the bow kinda like a rifle, and actually found out a couple things about it. I was able to lossen the rest bolt and able to get the rest to lay a fraction of an inch above the riser, while also getting it to lay perfectly flat. I think this is going to be a god thing.

Now, I gots a second question, ill ask here so to not start a new thread.

Is there a formula to get you close to your arrow FPS whitout having to shoot through a chronagraph?
