Greetings and welcome to the second installment of “How to” starring Shane the Pain.

Have you ever wondered how those guys get all of those big bucks? I mean you hunt all day in a stand and see a few bucks here and there but they aren’t 200+ class bucks, so you ask yourself “how do I get my bucks to grow that big?”.

In this week’s installment we will cover the basic necessities for growing big bucks on your ground. I know what you’re thinking those guys give those deer growth enhancement drugs, or they are cross bread with elk, and they put up high fences. You may even go as far as to say Al Gore invented the big buck. Perhaps there’s truth to all of this but here at SelfBros INC we are going to show you that everyone can have big bucks at their favorite hunting grounds and it’s as easy as 1,2,3. So next time you post a thread showing trail camera pictures of your target buck you’ll get these sorts of responses.

“that buck would help us this year for sure. Probably win the contest all by himself.” Rizzo999

“That buck is a absolute GIANT :) Monster Raxx

“I just wish I could be the greatest hunter in the world like you Selfbros” Evilstuff

“I must be the only one on here that runs my deer over first” MNpuple

“Your deer are so huge, I have to pay the guy who raises deer in a fenced compound down the road to shoot my big bucks every year man does that get expensive, but at least I don’t have to walk far!” iHunt

“That’s a Monster buck. I bought one like that off of Ebay to help my team win the bowhunting.com contest in 2011” Rory/MO

“I found a dead buck like that last year on the side of the road. It was so big I just loaded it in my truck claimed as my own” rknierim

You have to ask yourself one question. That question is “are mature bucks smart?” well hell yeah they are. DUH! You knew that of course because you’re a lean mean hunting machine. Right? The mature whitetail is smart and he’s mature because he’s smart. His wisdom is what allows him to avoid our advances each and every hunt. There are many gimmicks out on the market that claim they will aid you in out smarting the mature bucks. Well here at Selfbros INC we say Bull****. Those mature bucks are educated by inexperienced hunters.
Here are the Selfbros ways to bag yourself a mature buck. You have to make them stupid! What? How do I make a mature deer stupid you ask?

Well about every hunter out there has had a deer under their stand that wasn’t desirable to shoot. Perhaps it was a doe with fawns, and doe in general, or a smaller/younger buck. This is a crucial time and time is of the assents. That young buck is standing near you and you freeze because you don’t want to spoke him right? If he sees you he’ll dart right? Sound familiar? Well at Selfbros inc we’ve been conducting research for the past 15 years on educating deer to the point that we now understand that you should educate those small/young bucks but educate them that you’re not that bad of a guy or gal after all. Make him you friend show him that you love him and would never harm him or his family and friends. Perhaps you should offer the deer some bread or an apple (if legal in your state) get up and close with the buck to the point that they no longer fear your presence. After about 5 years of this you should have a nice mature buck on your hands.

When the time comes to win the Bowhunting.com contest do as Team 27 does just simply walk up to your pet monster buck that you’ve been hand feeding his entire life, acting as if your about to feed him or give him a kiss then just stick an arrow through its heart. It’ll most likely cry from your deceitful nature, but remember you goals and priorities at this point what are a few tears. At least have bragging rights for rest of the year.
I hope that you’ve enjoyed this latest installment of “How To” by Shane the Pain. At Selfbros, inc we strive to improve the hunter in all of us, well at least some of us. Now take care and stay tune for the next "How To" from Shane the Pain.
