I boiled my deer head last year and just boiled it in dawn soap to cut the grease, after all the meat was gone, I threw in some oxi clean in the pot, I was happy with the results of that, and I didn't use any peroxide or bleach, its been over a year and its still clean and white, no yellowing or anything.
