How to: Calculate correct arrow spine ???

Whats the formula for selecting the correct arrow weight and spine for a bow ?

Same for compound and recurve, also ?

For a compound, because of the vast differences in draw force curve, your going to really need a tool like OnTarget2 to help get you on the right path. There really isn't any great formula out there, but this type of software will help you get there. Once you have that, then you simply need to tune.
