im looking to buy a stabilizer for my mathews mq32 to help with balance and to reduce sound if possible. is there anything that would make 1 stabilizer better than another because of the bow? this will be my first stabilizer so any information will be helpful. i guess my question is how do i find the right stabilizer for me?

In my opinion, if you are looking for a shorter hunting stabilizer, I would look at what is going to give you the most vibration dampening (sound reduction). Past experience for me is that until you get into the long target stabilizers, the short hunting stabilizers don't provide much additional 'stability' on the shot and really function as noise reduction and improve the look of your rig.

For hunting I like the F8 made by X Factor outdoors. They are not the heaviest in the world but the sound and vibration dampening qualities are un-real.
