Very nice. Funny timing as you know I just built one like your original. I kept the center Tee unglued so the bow holder can pivot down for storage. The arrow holders can also be folded in or removed with a quick pull. I like this idea as well. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
I did that as well, however it was still a PITA with loose arrow holders and the main T that stuck out so far. The new version is much more portable and easy to throw in the back of the truck if traveling. Plus I can hang it on the wall in my garage or shed during winter months so it's out of the way and not taking up so much space. I just pulled my original apart and may donate it out to the hunt club for people to use there. I certainly don't need 2 of them at my house.
Building one of those sounds like a lot more fun than the honey-do list for this weekend. What was the total cost if you don't mind me asking?
Looks good, I like it. Question, would it be more beneficial to put the pins in the T instead of the 90's. That would give you a more secure hold that the self tappers and would basically have to line up one hole and the other would line up naturally? Or is there not enough room?
I built one 4 years or so ago. It sits outside year round and still works great. I painted mine with Krylon plastic paint and added some camo duct tape. No reason other than I was bored and didn't like the white pvc look lol.
I also posted a PVC bow holder, but a slightly different variation. One thing I did was left the riser of mine unglued, however it actually makes it more difficult to move about so I'm going to wind up gluing it.
