Any tips on calling big bucks in? What call should I use? How frequently? How loud?

I grunted in my buck I shot last week. I was using the primos hardwood grunter. I've had great reactions to this call. It scares the young bucks off because its pretty throaty, but if a mature buck hears it, he usually pins his ears back and comes in on a rope. A lot of becoming good at calling in bucks is trial and error, seeing what works, when, and why. I also pay a lot of attention to the bucks mood and body language as he approaches, before I call. I usually never blind call unless its with rattling horns. If I use a grunt tube, its to a buck I can see at a distance. The more you do it and see how the deer react, the better you will get at it.
