how sharp do broadheads need to be?

    I've found that many are not very sharp out of the box.

    You should be afraid to touch them... that sharp.

    Blades should be as sharp as possible as nearly everyone has stated. The clotting analogy was a perfect one!!

    The sharper the better. You get better blood with a sharp broadhead. I shoot swhackers and they come razor sharp. I'll only use a broadhead if the blades are shaving sharp.
