Closer than I was. Fixed pin is on the bow and also got broad heads sighted in. 6 days to archery elk season opener.
Apparently I was ready enough. Makes it easier when they stand broadside at 20 yards and look the other way.
In my mental checklist this year, I added a 'relax' step to make sure both my grip and release hands are not tense. Loosely the thought that I roll through: Draw, level, pin, relax, fire, follow through.
Yes sir! The relax part was what I was skipping in a very similar pre shot routine. Sent from my SM-G960U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Started practicing in April around turkey hunting. I have Shot 1500 arrows this summer. Its been a treat trying to keep my old bow ( bear element) holding together. Thinking after this season ill be buying a new one although i did hit my first Robin hood. over all i feel very prepared shooting wise. now placing stands is the next chore.
New string, new broad heads, stands hung, and two shooters on camera in morning daylight. 2020 opener 9/12/20. I'm ready to BOWHUNT or DIE!!
A little over a month to go for me... Especially after all of the **** going on right now, Im even more excited to be able to go sit in the woods and be disconnected from everything while chasing some whitetails.
23 more days for us in mn. But I don't start till October. Mosquitos are horrible this year. Let the frost kill them.
Not ready. I haven’t been in the woods since April. Hopefully pull a few cards and get a few more cameras out, trim some lanes etc etc.
It works better than any spray you would put on your body. Well worth the $20. I won't hunt without one.
