I dunno still looks photoshopped. This one didn't pass through and look at the amount of blood compared to the original pic. arrowinhand.jpg arrowinhand2.jpg

Not saying there should be tons of blood yet, but there should still be some. You know he didn't shoot through his hand and then stay perfectly still. Any movement would cause more trauma and open up the wounds. Just saying it looks photoshopped to me. However if it happened...OUCH!!

Maybe the arrow moved fast enough to cause enough heat to cauterize the wounds!?

Yeah I heard the same thing, This is story that I heard:

This photo was taken on a cell phone last week after the guy took his friend
to Bass Pro Shop to buy his first bow. The clerk was 'assisting' him in
zeroing it in, and, after shooting several arrows, making adjustments
etc., the clerk accidently handed him an arrow that was too short.
When he drew back, the arrow tip fell down onto his hand and he somehow
released it. They rode to the hospital with the bow in his buddy's hand
because it impaled his finger also! They are both archery amateurs (I'm
thinking the clerk is also?). I don't think the guy who got shot ever had
held a bow prior, let alone shoot one...OUCH!

If that was my first experience with a bow it would also be my last. I would go back to Bass Pro and get the best rifle, pistol and shotgun they have. On the house of course!

I think there was now blood because they may have not moved the arrow yet. in the other pics you posted you can see that they were already in a hospital so they may have tried to remove it them selfs.
I shot my hand with a nail gun threw all 4 fingers and they didnt bleed until I yanked the nail out.

I've managed to cut my hands pretty damn well a few times including cutting off the first inch of my trigger finger (stitched back on, you'd never know unless I showed you the scar). cuts are weird, sometimes they bleed like crazy others hardly at all, I cut the base of my trigger finger 2 weeks ago on an angle with a serrated piece of metal right to the bone, bled like crazy but never hurt at all through the healing process, weirdest thing ever.
you truly cant say it's photoshopped because of the lack of blood. infact if it was photoshopped I would think they would have added in a lot more blood.

I second this one. The fact that he would hold still enough/be calm enough to pose for a picture? I can tell you if that was me and real and you came at me with a camera instead of help... Probably draw my concealed and tell you where you could shove that camera.

I don't think it is photoshopped. I was a fireman and have seen impalement injuries (I'm also a carpenter so I've had a few of my own...nails, staples) they usually doesn't bleed much if the object is a tight fit. This is definately not one to pull through and wrap up in a napkin and electrical tape! My nutsack goes into turtle mode when i think about injuries like these....lol.

PS: Michael Pearce how the hell did you get a nail through all 4 fingers? Ouch!
