Bow kill or bow recovery? I was 22, 7 years into bowhunting(finger shooter, instinctive then cheap sight). The last 20 however there may be 2 that I haven't taken a deer with a bow.
17, took me 4 years of bowhunting before I tripped the release at a deer (besides one miss on my second year).
I was 15, and it was also my first buck kill, and first deer with a bow, it was 24 years ago!, and I remember it like it was last season!
17 (31 now), second season, second shot I had taken...doe at 22 yards, Hoyt Raider round wheel beginner bow...around 56 pounds draw, XX75 2114 Eastons's, Gold Tip 2 blade expandables, complete pass through - she ran about 50 yards, thought I saw her go down. Went to get my buddy I dropped off down the road, and 3 other buddies showed up who were quail hunting all helped me retrieve...D@amn I was proud bringing bringing that one home! I still remember hearing that sound of arrow hitting home...
16 years old, first 10 minutes in a stand, biggest buck to date! Since then I've learned it really isn't that easy lol.
Oct. 10 1961 I was at the ripe old age of 5 using a bow my grand father made for me unfortunately he died before he ever seen me shoot it.
