How old is this buck and does he have the potential?

First off I live in Southwest Va! And where I live people shoot at shadows just trying to tag out! I'm guessing this buck is around a 2 yr old what do y'all think? And does he have the potential?

 

The potential for what?

 

To be a decent buck. Last couple years there was a huge potential for ten on the property.

 

Any deer can have potential if you let them get old enough.

That's a yearling buck. If give him 3 more years to see him mature

 

Where he is that is more than likely a 2.5 year old.

Potential yes, if he can get through the orange army pursuit.

 

He is a 1 yr old. He needs to grow another 2 yrs. But you shoot what you want. Even a doe can be a trophy....

 

They all have the potential to be awesome with potatoes and gravy if you do it right.
