Hey Guys, I got this bear on my trail cam in may. The year says 2008 but it was this year. How old/ big do you think it is. I have trouble judging the size but based on the distance from ear to ear it looks pretty big to me. Your thoughts?
I'm not that good with bear, but it seems decently sized, looking at the skull in the first pic. Schultzy is the one that needs to see these photos, he'd know
Being that picture was taken In May and It's only been out of hibernation for a month or so It's more then likely a decent size bear now being he's starting to get fattened up for hibernation. I'd bet It's no younger then 4.5 years old, probably In that 6 to 7 year old range. Hard to tell though, more head pictures would be nice. Probably In that 175lb range In your picture.
