Just wondering what everyones thought on when to change string and cables. I have been told every 2 years. what do you all think? also are all the string the same or is it better to spend more $ on a so called higher quality string?
there is a huge difference between a cheap string and a good one. worth the cash imho. i try to stick with the every 2 years thing, if you shoot a ton, once every spring might not be a bad plan
It also depends on how well you maintain your string by waxing and protecting it from dirt, abrasion and sunlight. If it's fraying or pilling up you should definitely replace it if you think a full strand's worth of material has frayed.
