Bow String Depot Strings here....and I wax them only when they start to look "a little fuzzy" like they need it...over waxing can be a problem.
Wax um when they are fuzzy! correct! over waxing them a problem correct! wax is sticky and will attract dirt and dust all you need it to lubricate them when they need it. Hutch
When they stop looking slick like they do after a waxing I do it again. or after strings get wet and need to dry then re wax em
When I said dried out I mean when they lose that glossy shine. I may be over waxing because the shop I bought my vaportrail set from said to wax after every time I shoot which to me doesn't make sense because I shoot everyday! What can over lubricating strings and cables cause?
LOL. I was going to say at least once a day when I was in my teens-early 20s. Maybe once a week now that I'm almost 40. honestly, after every range session. Range sessions for me are a minimum of 100 shots.
If they start to look fuzzy, you've waited too long. I wax mine after every 6th or 7th time I shoot. SCFox
