How often do you check your trail cameras? I usually wait about 3 weeks during the season although I dont wait as long on cameras on field edge scrapes that I can get to with out alerting deer.
I can't stand to wait that long lol I am there once a week at all my cams. I think the deer are used to me walking aroung on my property. I see them in the woods watching me walk by and they do not always alert and run. Some of the time when I come back they are still in the same location.
This is one thing I am going to change this year. I was checking them once a week. I felt like it was too much. I have some new spots this year with field edges and easier access. The ones I can get to easily I will check once a week still. The ones that are deeper in the woods I'm gonna let them sit at least 3 weeks. I think I can easily get three weeks out of these ones because they will be set up on travel corridors, not a scrap or food source.
About every 2-3 weeks unless it's a cam that is with one of my stands. Then I'll check it a little more frequently. Blessings.......Pastorjim
