@dnoodles - I've never been a whiskey drinker at all. No bourbon, scotch, anything. It never set well on my stomach. A little over two weeks ago we had a work party at our cabin and one of the guys had some Irish Whiskey. I tried it and it tasted great. I had a few sips and it set well on my stomach. When I got home my wife was in town and she asked if I wanted anything while she was there. I thought to myself "I'd like some whiskey". I remembered the Irish whiskey I'd had at the cabin and then I remembered this post you made back in 2020 about Jameson's being a good starter whiskey, so I told my wife to pick up a bottle of Jameson's Irish Whiskey. She came home with a bottle of Jameson's Black Barrel. Very, very good. I took the time to dig up this post from 5 years ago to let you know that you definitely had a huge impact on my world with that one little post.
