You guys that have a shop take care of your bow, how much does it cost? I need cams timed and synchronized, peep tied in and d-loop installed.

Depends. Did you buy it new? Do you have a pro shop you frequent?? If so head there and they'll help you out for cheap, especially if you buy something from them. If not, will probably be an hourly rate of about $25 an hour, and should take at least an hour.

OK thank you! I did buy the bow there in August new and I am getting a new sight while I'm there.

My shop tuned mine when I bought it and then told me to bring it back after I shoot it 100 times. I haven't been keeping track but have probably shot it well over that. I will be taking it in after the season. He said this one will be on the house. You might ask your shop if they do that.

The pro shop I bought my new bow from told me that they would do all the tuning for that bow for free. I just assumed that free tuning is the standard.

Whitetail Outfitter in Riner VA. usually does it for free. Or if you a long standing customer...In good standing with The owner and The tech. Buy a Bow from them and price is something you never hear while getting your bow worked on.

Still I would say about $25.-30.00 bucks if you've got the bow somewhere else.

If they are your friends or could call you that. Buy some arrows and that should cover it.

My shop said bring it back for adjustment but never said anything about cost. I'd say buy some wax/arrows/stuff from them and become a familiar face.

correct me if I'm wrong, but my experience at most proshops is that if you buy the product from them, they'll likely mount it/tune it for free. This has been my experience with all 3 bows I've purchased and those proshops have ranged from wichita, KS, to Poplar Bluff, MO, and to Reno, NV. They all seemed happy tuning rests and tieing in peeps for free. Most places will also let you paper tune and shoot through the chrono for free as well.

Just spent about 1700 for a setup at a shop near me. They then charged me 80 bucks to tune the thing (had to ask later. They never offered) without adding nock points or even touching the top hat. Bow shot better before the "tune." Learning now that this should have been done much better and at no cost to me since I bought the bow from them...Beware of shops like this, and good luck.
