Tinks, Code Blue, Golden Estrous, etc...how much faith can one put into this stuff? If you use it, how do you use and which ones do you use?? Do you believe you have taken a buck b/c of these scents?
Ive used it probably the last 5 years and havent had much luck with it all. one time i made a drag line with it and had a small 8 point come to it. but other than that nothing. Maybe i use it at the worng time or in the wrong conditions but i dont put much faith in it.
I use to buy it, but never had any results. Now the only scent I have faith in is the piss running down a live does legs...that my friend is magical. However I am interested in some of the synthetics I have been reading abut on here. They dispell most of my fears of why real scents break down and do not work once they sit in wal-mart for weeks on end.
I"ve used it also, not much luck. Others I know have had better luck with it. I think it's all timing. The rut has to be on, and does running hot.
I use it and it does work, but i use it where i want the buck to stop so i can get a shot off, feel free to look at my pic's they are all tinks 69 except the deer from thurs night i used the new primos synthetic and also worked well. i used a drag line once then put five tinks film canisters around the stand nice eight point smelled every canister before i shot him. i will say does will run from it at times before they come in heat, i dont bother using it before the rut kicks in, i have been using this year since Halloween and got a nice buck thurs night with it. It's not magic and doesn't pull them in like the smell of good bbq like it does me, but it does stop them for the shot.
