My hunting area of NY is said to be getting about 8-12 inches of snow today. I was hoping that this will increase deer movement but i heard that over 12" will do the opposite. Im going to be going out tomorrow in hopes of my first bow kill and i cant tell you how excited i am to bow hunt in the snow.

Don't know about up that way,but the deer down here usually won't move until the snow stops falling. But you can't kill em if your not hunting em and any day on the stand is a good day to be there.
    Hope you get em.
