My weight is the same but not being able to weight train for a couple months wasn't the best thing for my body composition. I definitely lost some muscle mass.

I've been known to piss in the gutter:ninja:
Was watching some geese fly over once and was watching them.
The home owner had left for an arrend ( so I thought).
Then I seen a shadow on the lawn:busted::busted:

Damn.. so I’m the only fat ass.. lol. I don’t know. When I hit the gym I hit hard. I lift heavy. It’s all I really know. Not power lifting, I have that up in my early 20s and began bodybuilding and with that there are certain rep ranges that I change up depending on the day. Some of it could be muscle growth from going back after 3 months. I do know that I can only see the outline of my abs now so there was fat gain damn it!

I've lost 23 lbs since March. I attribute it to not eating out fast food at lunchtime and evening's staying away from sweets. I have upped my water intake also. My last A1c went from 8.5 to 6.8... Amazing thing is that I don't miss the fast food and sweets anymore. I'd like to loose another 20, but it's hard to give up my cold beer and potatoes!

    Update 25#'s

Which I find strange. I'll stall for a week to week and half then all of a sudden I drop 4-5 over night. I weigh as soon as I wake each morning only. So I'm wearing the same thing. Last time ate is the same ,usually 12 to 13 hours.

Good Job, Weight loss isn’t linear. You just have to keep hammering away and follow the trend.

I can see how people that diet get discouraged and quit. This for me is a necessary health life style change.

I count calories most days. I try to stay between 2000-2300. Lifting heavy weights is by far better than the cardio i do for burning body fat. Eating high protein foods is another. I just have been lazy when I come home from the gym. Getting back to teaching and walking around the classroom and what not would help, but that ain't happening now

I haven't put on any weight in the last 8 months. Right after Christmas I noticed that I was putting a few pounds on so I altered my diet (means ate less).

Then once the weather became tolerable I became way more active and have been getting a lot of work done ever since. So the pounds have been staying off.

Two years ago my wife and I went on a low carb diet for her to get pregnant (I lost 45 pounds).
Since the baby’s first birthday we’ve slacked up on that diet and I stayed home for four months with the baby’s daycare closing.
I stepped on the scale yesterday and I’ve gained 35 pounds.

I've yo-yod. Gained 10, lost almost 20, now back to my normal top end heavy of 215.
I really want to be at 195 for deer season. I run and gun a lot and it's just plain harder to do when I'm over 210. Just hoofing over the property today to get my cams, I was huffing and puffing. Hate that.

Have I mentioned mid-40s suck ass? Because they do.

Wait until you get in your 50's it hurts before you exercise, and during and after.

Well I am 45 and the last time I checked I was 12% body fat. I weigh 153 lbs and I can still bench 300. So Im doing well however, what I fear is back and joint stuff coming..I get a bit of now and I don't lift as heavy as I used too. Heavy is relative. but I can tell when I gain just a few lbs how it slows me down. I am glad to see so many of yall keeping weigh off and down ! And feeling good!

Down 14#. No eating out since March and my wife is dieting. Walking every morning with her. That and home cooking works for us.
