How many times do you reuse the same arrow?

Do you continue to use the same arrow after a kill?
Obviously checking it for obvious damage. Or do you think the impact can weaken the shaft?
My last deer was a pass thru, but it bent one of the blades either from bone or impact from the ground. It seems good still.
    Thought?
Or is there some superstition you may have?

I have killed 5 deer with the same arrow! I won't switch until it breaks or is deemed unshootable!

I will use the arrow indefinitely as long as it it isn't damaged. I will replace the blades on the broadhead after every shot.

I had an arrow that went through 3 deer. Then I refletched and it got lost in the shuffle.

Yep,keep shooting it as long as its good. I've shot two deer this year with the exact same arrow and broadhead, all I did was change the blades.

Only time I don't reuse them is if they are damaged or need refletched. I usually buy 3 or 6 new arrows every couple of months though so if it just needs refleched it usually gets mixed in and forgotten about.

Lol wow surprised I'm only one. I dunno y but every deer and bear I've shot I always retire the arrow and broadhead. Tradition I guess. I like to clean it and keep with the mount. And if not mountable I keep in my kill collection.

I always fear the tiniest of stress cracks. I had one once before on a practice arrow. When I shot the arrow broke causing the bow to react like a dry fire. Broke all cables cams etc. so I like to be cautious.

I will reuse them. Or at least have them with for a back up or small game arrow. :deer:

Depending on what it kills. Whenever I get a nice buck, elk, muley or any other big game, it'll be retired with the mount.

Also thinking like this too. The fear of a tiny stress crack..
