Doubt I could today and if I did I would probably hurt something. But back when I played football, I could do at least 6 reps of 225. My 5 rep max was around 235 if I remember right. I was pretty small back then too, around 5'9'', 165lbs, so I was proud of it for sure lol. My legs were most impressive though, I was far from the strongest chest and arm wise, but I was hard to beat on the dead lift and squat.

My arms and shoulders is what was my best feature. My legs were built for speed.

I can see the Germ Calendar being one of BH.com's top sellers.

7-8 back in my prime. Now...who knows. Maybe 1? I'm still fairly strong but haven't worked out in forever. I'd probably pull something trying. LOL

My son came home last week and said he did 185 6 times in his workouts at school. Not bad for being 150lb freshman who just started working out ever about 6 mos ago. Then he told me their strongest player (a junior) did 225lbs (28) times in a row that day. Wow. That kid is strong. He's 6'0 225lbs, and a vicious linebacker/fullback.

I actually just did this the other day haha. I got 225 for my last set of 8. Only because I am in the weight room pretty often here at school. Who wants to study anyway?

So.. let me see if I understand this correctly.

Everybody (just about) hates on Cam Hanes because he likes to brag it up on his fitness.. but over the past few days we've had two threads (that I know of) that are all up on bragging about ourselves and our own fitness and that's cool.

    Irony?

I dont see bragging. I see a bunch of slow and weak.

Interesting, I suppose. I never hated on him. Just posted the video to see what others thought.

I'm definitely no Cam Hanes...certainly wouldn't mind having his fitness level.

Years ago as a senior weighing In at 160lbs I have no Idea how many times I could do 225. Never tried to see how many I could do. I'm guessing 5 to 6 times maybe. My max bench as a senior was 265lbs. Could I do 225 now, I think so.

I just thought it was funny Danno... that's all.

I find irony in just about everything in life.. find the humor in it too.. never take myself or others to seriously.

I'm good.. busy with life.. but good yo. Still recovering from a crazy sunburn from the Dominican Republic last week.. damn thing has me peeling still.
