I'll be getting my stands out over the next couple of weekends. I'll have two on my ninety acre spot and I plan on having two at my grandma's which is only three and a half acres. I do have a climber that I can use if the need arises.
1 stand, 375 acres of private land. I use a climber, but I have 19 climbing trees picked out as stand locations during the season
none, i carry mine in where i hunt. don;t have any land to call my own (yet) so stuck to using public lands and/or the military base
I have one hang on stand that I leave up on our hunt camp property year round. I just take the bottom of my climbing sticks off and keep it locked up in the tree. Then I have a ol'man climber that I use for state land. I am looking to get a cheaper ladder stand that I can leave up on state land for a week or so at a time. Going to have to be something I wouldn't mind loosing to thieves though. Things tend to grow legs and walk away from where you put em. at least where i'm at.
8 trimmed and set-up stands that we will run with muddy stands and sticks. We then have another 14 hang-on sets and 2 locations that are ground blind potential. We have another 4 hang ons that can be put up in season, however, most newly identified in season tweaks will lead to using the mobil muddy system.
Will be putting up a single ladder stand next week on some small acreage a friend is letting me hunt down behind his house on the creek, then have my Lone Wolf hang-on that I'll be using at the Geneva State Forest (WMA) so I don't have to leave it up and risk it being stolen. Easy to pack in and out and with those sticks I can get up in the tree quick.
Let's see: 4 Stands on about 75acres 3 Stands (1 blind for pops) on about 20 acres 1 stand on about 40 acres (don't hunt there as much) 1 climber ready to go
