Glass with your binos when you are in the stand? The reason I ask as Saturday morning on our way back to the truck I asked my buddy what he thought of the 8 that was out in front of him around 100 yards in the brush? He said what 8?:jaw: I responded with the 8 that was with the 6 pointer, the spike, and the three does. I couldn't believe it. Our stands are about 50 yards apart. I am facing south and he is facing west. I watched the group for over 30 minutes.

He said to me, "I never saw them"!

So much can be seen with your binos even in heavy cover! Use them! That's what they are for!

Never. It's neat to see deer at 100 yards but I can't shoot them that far :D

I like to see them coming before they see me! It's also a great to go to the call and horns when it's time. imo!

I need to use mine more, but I only have a small field of view currently. Been focusing most if my efforts on a small apple orchard along a creek in a thicket lately, but il move to a new area for rut, and bins will definitely play a part!

I take a monocular every time I go because I hunt in fairly thick woods. This helps because if I can't see where a sound is I have it ready to take a closer look. Helps a lot when a deer beds down and you can't see if they are watching you or not. Its a great way to make things a little less boring sometimes too.
