I was wondering if you guys from other areas of the country are also using electric utility vehicles to get in and out of your hunting areas. I have an ATV but rarely use it to hunt off of anymore.. Too much noise. It gets drag duty when I can't get in close enough with my EUV. I put a set of ATV tires on the back of my cart and it surprising goes well in the muck and mud.

My EUV is a converted 2007 Club Car. I call it my poor boy buggy!

I have about 20 hours of mods in it and around $2500 total investment in it.

I use a stealth UAV vehicle. I love it! she's my baby. Awesome for coyote and turkey hunting! I do not use it on any of my deer hunting properties. thinking about doing a north dakota public land trip for deer next year so that will be the first time I use it deer hunting.

I hate 4 wheelers In the woods/mountains during hunting seasons. I've had some bad expierences with other people with this. I use my own 2 feet to get around.

I use to hoof it all the time myself. I am getting up there in age and the doctor told me 2 years ago I have degenerative arthritis in my spine and hip joints. He said surgery was the only option... I said NOT!

So I have been riding my EUV to be able to still get to places I need to get. I only use it on property I own or lease so its not a negative to other hunters.

I use my feet and a wheelbarrow. Never gets stuck and holds everything I need.

The golf cart I use infrequently to quietly shorten a few of my road access spots. The canoe gets a lot more of a work out :tu:

I hunt my own property and own a yamaha rhino. I also stopped using it because it was too noisy. Although I am getting up there in age, I have accustomed myself to getting around on my hills on foot. Good exercise! What I should do is ride my tractor, it don't seem to bother the deer.

BBM -- it can get hug that way easily I guess. Most of the places I take it aren't that bad. It's really helped me stay in the game though!

    Fitz-- U'da man! :)

I'm sorry If you took my post like I was giving you heck. Wasn't my Intentions. It just so many people are lazy these days and drive through public woods all hours of the day. It's made bear hunting very tough where I hunt.

I agree 4wheelers are noisy and smelly, I believe the OP was talking about EUV (Electric). That's not a slight on anyone, but you should see what these hings are capable of. Mine has 50 mile range, more like 20ish, turf mode, locking rear and true on demand 4wd. I have a RZR 4 and a Ranger 500, but for stealth you can't beat'm. This thread caught my eye as I wondered who else had made the jump to all electric.

I just usually hunt from my truck at night with a big light. LOL

Nope, when I can I use my ATV. Usually I hunt without it but go get it if there's a long drag involved.

Have any troubles getting that thing stuck or anything? We have a good bit of hills here. I'd like to get one but worry about not being able to climb a hill when its a bit wet and muddy...just wondering your thoughts on it.

cmonsta - I've hung it up twice in the last 3 years. Both times were rutted up mudholes. I carry a cable and a come along in the back compartment. Both times I hand winched it out myself and needed no additional help. It goes alot better than you would think on hill climbs with the ATV tires I put on it. Before I put those on it would just spin out. Been thinking about getting a portable winch for it.

Awesome thanks for the info! I been wanting a stealth atv but I can not figure out how that thing cost like $12,000 or more! That bothers me a bit. So I been wanting something like what you have and can normally find one for under 3k, but was worried being 1 or 2 wheel drive it would be rough on dirt hills. Now I might have to take a second look at them. Thanks again!
