Just curious. My wife came home tonight sick with what appears to be the same bug I had a few weeks back. I'm of course returning the favor and taking care of her like she did for me However, I'm still being very cautious and washing my hands often and living in my basement (where I am now) when she doesn't need me. Growing up in a house of 5 people, I've never (knock on wood) gotten sick again after getting it once. I know they are viruses and can mutate, but have any of you gotten sick, given it to someone in your family, and then got it again? If you can't tell, I'm bored here.:D
I've been fortunate enough to never get really sick during a hunting season. Maybe a cold here or there but nothing serious. This past season, however, the swine flu was making it's way around campus where I went to school and I was scared to death that I was going to get stuck with it. The Good Lord was watching over me though and I somehow missed it!
I hate the Stomach bug, my body doesn't take to kindly to vomiting, It hurts my insides so bad.... man I absolutely hate it, but to answer question, No I've never had it Twice in one season, and I hope I never do.
No I have never gotten a bug twice in one season. This past season I got a legitimate dose of the swine flu, it was absolute hell. I think I would rather take two doses of normal flu than that
Bourbon will cause it. LOL So will pregnancy. Probably just one of those deals where people pass it back and forth. Since I retired and don't have daily exposure to the public.... I don't get sick much. Schools and the work places just multiply this crap. I play in the great, COLD, snowy outdoors every day. I have my hands in 43 degree water for hours everyday tending the fish and haven't had a sniffle really. Had a stomach bug back before the first of the year but I caught it at my buddies work place. They all passed it around for a month. I stop in for coffee or breakfast everyday. If I had avoided them I wouldn't have got it. Go hermit.... it works. LOL And ...wash your hands a LOT
